Default Does this frequently happen to anyone else while driving..?

You are driving down the highway, and someone is hogging the left lane with plenty of room to move over. You sit and wait for a minute to see if they are going to let you pass....they don't. Then you are forced to pass them on the right. In your rear-view mirror you see them immediately move over the right lane after you are already in front of them.

This seems to happen to me every day.

That usually doesn't happen to me. I pass left-lane hogs on the right and they just keep on plodding along in the left lane like they own it.
If I'm passing you on the right, YOU are in the wrong lane!

If speed kills, how come I'm still alive?

Same here. I very rarely see left lane hogs move over; even after they are passed by multiple vehicles in the right lane.

I don't wait for them to move over anymore. If they haven't moved by the time I have gotten up close to them, I'll take the right lane and pass them. Most of the time they choose to move to the right lane immediately after which is rather annoying.

Yes most of the time they decide to move over after being passed but not always. I guess they realize after being passed that they shouldn't be in the left lane. They should get that from the start though. I travel psl+20 and am usually in the right lane except for passing, why they think its okay to be doing psl +2 in the left lane as they pass signs that say keep right pass left I'll never understand.

My gf always claims the true speeders come up on her so quick she does not notice it in time and when she tries to switch lanes it's to late cause they have already switched into the slow lane.

Sometimes if I am cruising in the fast lane at an acceptable speed limit and I see someone coming in the distance in the slow lane but speeding ill wait till they pass me then I will get over. Otherwise I am just making them switch lanes for no reason.

This all depends on traffic of course, if I see I am about to block them ill move over a head of time..... and hope they have a cobra so I can follow.

Ususally they move over after I pass them. Probably because I come so close to their front bumper they think we're exchanging paint.

Usually if they are cruising in the left lane for no reason at all (right lane completely open) they aren't really paying much attention to driving anyways. So they don't realize they shouldn't be there and they aren't checking their rear mirror every so often.

Unless it looks unsafe to pass on the right I'll come up pretty fast on them hoping they see me (daytime running lights can help), and if I do it right they move over.

Before I had detectors I stayed under 9+ psl, I check behind me frequently enough that if I'm in the left lane passing cars only a few mph more, I move over for anyone coming up behind me so they don't even have to slow.

The worst is when you're already in the left lane going over psl, and a car in the right lane going at least 10mph slower decides to merge to the left lane for no reason, with no other cars around, right in front of you.
