    Default NY to NC I-95

Driven it lately ? Don't know what to expect with construction zones, hidden speed cams etc. Can't avoid it this time.

We made the trip about 2 weeks ago, Boston to Chapel Hill (along I95).

Much construction on the NJTP. Quite a bit of construction on the south side of Wash DC. None of this affected our travel. In fact, we left early Thursday morning and arrived in Chapel Hill around 5PM for dinner. Speed limit in parts of VA is now 70mph. Traffic very dense once you leave the DC area and head towards Richmond. That's a tough stretch of road.

We took the inland route (I81) home. We really didn't get stuck anywhere on the entire journey except near Harrisburg PA during rush hour + rain. Minimal to no enforcement during the trip. Gas is cheap in VA and MD

Last year we did the same trip but on a Friday....that wasn't good.

Don't go over 80 in VA, it's a felony. Ya know the same thing as murder, theft, and rape.

You know it, man! However, it's often difficult to exceed 60mph on that stretch of I95, let alone 80mph or better
