    Default Hardwiring

Hey everyone, I just got a hardwire kit for my X50 and I want to get started hardwiring it, but I have no idea how to. Can anyone give me any forum link, any how to with pictures, or any advice? I have a 1998 Honda Accord. Thank you everyone.

Hey khedairy i just hardwired my detector into a 92 accord, i'm assuming things are going to be very similar to yours. All i did was loosen the screws in the sun visors in order to allow me to stuff the wire into the roof. Then i snapped of the plastic cover off the "a" pillar? at least thats what i think its called. Than i stuffed the wire into the side of the dashboard, the part that you can see when you open the drivers side door. After that you should be real close to the fuse box by the drivers feet.
The circle you ask about, is that the one thats in blue in the picture?, because i'm pretty sure you should have it, make sure you are looking into the fuse box by the drivers feet. You should have about 4 or 5 of those auxiallary power outlets in your fuse box. I used the first one because thats the one that had power when the ignition was in position one. Just slip the + end of your power cord over the metal contact in the power jack and thats it. Oh yeah and make sure you ground it to a bolt somewhere in the area, wherever the wire can reach.

!) Test Mount the RD. Put it where you want it so you know where to run the wires and make sure it looks good then removed the RD and leave the bracket for reference.

    2) Remove the Lower Dash Board Cover (On Hondas it should just be held in by clips.

    3) Remove second dash cover if you have one (one or two screws and clips)

    4) Remove A-Pillar plastic

    5) wire it up nice and clean and put everything back.

(not in depth, but should get you in the right direction).

I know what you mean, doesn't the average public read at like the 6th grade level anyway?

    1) Open Box
    2) Remove contents
    3) Set them out
    4) make sure you have all the pieces
    5) These are the tools you need......
