REMOTE X50. LED DISPLAY HIDDEN IN REAR VIEW MIRROR

What do you think of the V1? I've heard varying reports - but regardless, it seems large and awkward.

A friend has an I30 and he's dying to get rid of it and treat himself to something new. But the damm thing runs like a Swiss watch and he can't bring himself to part with it.

The G35 is my first Nissan, cars I normally didn't care for. But the G35 coupe got under my skin so I finally sprang for it. I think it's not wise to drive w/o a radar detector geneally, but certainly in a car like the G35.

No V1 yet... hopefully ordering soon, need a few extra $$ before i do, i must say the X50 im using right now is quite nice, as for the I30 i wish i had gotten the 5 speed soo bad, but other than that i love the thing, havent had really any problems, and how many other cars can get 30 mpgh highway and go 140? and yes they surely do run forever...

My 900 T, and Corvettes can do 300 km/h and get 30 highway too

There was some soldering, as you'd want the connections to be reliable and permanent. Just think of it as removing the LED readout in the Passport and adding an extension cord to it, then placing the Passport and the readout where you want - it needn't necessarily be in the mirror.

oh i see that cord now. didnt see in the first time, thought you just basically cut the bottom of the mirror out and fitted the display which was still attached to the rd. impressive job.

Yes, the G35 is a 6-sp. The damm thing is incredibly fast and I can't believe what a value it is. A comparably equipped 330i is $14k more. I looked also at the Mazda RX but it's a bit too funky for me. Plus it doesn't have the torque of the G.

Glad I have the Passport onboard.
