Jim do you have one, if so do they work?
No, I don't have one. There's definitely been some times where I've wanted one though. You almost can't go to the movies anymore without someone's phone ringing in the middle of it. Also, some people obviously can't do two things at once, they need to stop talking and pay attention to the road... :x

They're illegal to use, import, etc
If I did order one, I would probably be the unlucky one where the package gets checked, and all I would receive is a letter from US Customs notifying me that my package had been confiscated

If you're technically inclined, there's a lot of info over on the Green Bay Packet Radio page...
I have recieved alot of packages from the uk "questional equipment". No questions asked. It depends if it says jammer on the product. That might raise some eyebrows.

Jammers that are out there dont work on all phones so dont get too excited! There are multi band phones out there that the jammer won't even touch!

True... I have one such phone, and have one such network (PCS and GSM at the same time). However, the switch is NOT seamless. If you were talking in the cinema, you enable this, then BLAM you get cut off. Sure... your phone will retrain and get the signal back again, but you already did your purchase of jamming it for maybe 30 seconds to a minute, however long it takes the phone to regain a signal.

My X50 did the same, I got it replaced and the new is picking up my normal false spots an average of 3 seconds earlier!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 Both were Rev 5!

I have dual and tribanders. I had very good luck with them. Jamming also depends on how close you are to the main cell tower. Some of the ones I seen are low power under half watt. Those dont get the job done. ops:
