    Default Is it normal...

Yesterday I was driving with my X50 and my friend had his cobra I did not received any alert with him being close to me but he actually got a Ka full alert everytime we were side to side. I tested both detectors in the same car and mine did not go off at all (City mode no X no POP) his went off on Ka/K and X. Mine was silent as if no Cobra was around. Then today I tried with my PRO 58 and it gave me Ka most of the time, sometimes full blast, then X like three times and K once. The X50 went off just once with a K 24.050. Do you guys think this is normal, that it is just filtering the RDs out????

The first day I got it, it gave me a K alert when I had my PRO 58 back to back.

The detectors were tested back to back, side to side and back to front.
    Front being the display.

well nothing quite like that... but when I ran my X50 (rev.5 blue) next to my buddy's X50 (rev.5 red)

his X50 would always report POP off mine but mine would remain quiet through the whole thing, we turned his POP off and left mine on still quiet, we tuned off my POP and his on full POP all the time, when both on the same thing, his went crazy, and mine was calm.......I usually keep the POP sensors off and only used them for this particular test, if that makes a difference.... also his X50 is aproximately 8 months older than mine

From what i was reading , the V1 is worse than the X50 to receive falses when a cobra is near and when you turn off POP on the X50 , it reduces the falses a lot more. Ill try it with POP On to see what it does.

Geesh. I can't understand this thread at all. If some punctuation and grammar was added it might help.

Here is some punctuation added to the thread for you: .-?-!

    His badge folks:

On a more serious note, this forum is full of bad grammer (or is that grammar ), and this thread really isn't all that bad, thats how 95% of the people on here type (after all it's a forum, not english class)... so if you can't understand this thread, your going to have trouble understanding a lot of forum. You would have enjoyed a user named 'Carlito' too.
