Can i pick up lasers where my escort 8500 is or am i toast if a laser is hitting me

Probably burnt toast, but it may or may not pick up laser as the officer shoots you depending on where he hits on your car. Then pull over and wait for the officer to give you a ticket :shock:

Should be ok... since its not in the tint strip (or doesnt seem to be), but remember just because you get hit with laser doesnt mean the RD will go off, even with the 2nd (or 1st best laser detector: V1)... especially when mounted up high. It may be one of those things were when you get the alert, you have got the ticket.

You dont want to be toast with laser... get a jammer.

A laser jammer such as the Blinder M20 or M40, the Laser ProPark("parking sensor"

) or the ZR3.

Also I would recommend you to move your RD closer to the center is better for laser and it might be slighty better for radar when it comes from the side-front.
