7500s ??

I was just curious to know what the differences are between the 8500 X50, and the 7500s. I have no inclination to purchase one of these, but just wondering what the difference is.

Ive used it in my CL a few times and compared to my X50 the range is too little than what im used to

I figured that it would be something along those lines, the features seem to be about the same...so all logic points to less performance.

Everywhere I have read the 7500s is supposed be very weak in KA performance compared to the x50.

I know this for a fact...but then again Ive never run my X50 and the 7500 at the SAME TIME, so i cant DIRECTLY compare, they usually stay in their resident cars though so I dont ude it often anyways...thank god

I've never used one but i'm sure the performance is not that bad. The unit is still pretty expensive. I think you can pick them up for about 220? In other words, you might as well pay the extra 80 or so to get the better model.

I know it's useless, but just to add: the 7500S supports SWS and the X50 does not.

I might be wrong, but I don't think the 7500s is an older model than the X50, I think they came out at about the same time, but it's just out there to serve as a less expensive alternative.

Right kinda like the RX-65 vs the RX-55, Cheaper alternatives............The 7500s does support SWS, so did the 8500 ORIGINAL, the X50 dropped SWS in favor of POP

like I said I use one every now and then and its performance isnt Terrible, but it does leave a bit to be desired

I think the 7500 and 7500s were basically the same but the 7500s had the ability to hook to a laser jammer.
