see thats the thing the Bels took 33.8, the V1 took 34.7, and the Escort took 35.5, so its all pretty well balanced

On Ka the Bel's (Rx65, STi) were the best followed by the V1 and then tagging along behind was the Escort.

V1 won 34.7 by a long shot
STI and X50 essentialy tied on 35.5 (30ft) V1 trailed by about 200ft

THAT was my reference, be advised that those were done with Rev 5 X50s and RX-65 (I believe) and 3.826 V1s.......older models as opposed to now, but they all atayed about the same....unless theres this stuff about the 3.85* models

GOL never tested the new firmware on the x50 (rev. 6.1) and the new rx65 (rev. 6.1 also) as well as the newest firmware on the v1(3.854). Jim said they'll have a shootout sometimes this month, or maybe next month nobody knows yet but I'm hoping it will happen soon

I think if the STi and the X50 essentially tied on 35.5 (32') then the STi and the V1 essentially tied on 34.7 too (39'). Which would square with my personal experience against the Stalker Dual's.

I think my generalisation stands. If Ka is your primary threat... you'd be better off with a Bel. Particularly given the V1's current shambolic revisions.
