Default Saw my first x50 today. . .

First Impression: I've seen boats smaller than that thing.

Maybe it just looks so freaking long because it is fairly thin.

Looks like a cool detector - I didn't get to see it in action - saw it sitting in a windshield and decided to take a loook seee.

The blue is sweet, I understand what you guys are talking about now :-D

ill admit sometimes I wish I paid the extra 50 bucks for the Valentine, but looking around here the V1 doesnt do that much better than the X50, and this way I get a full text display....so im happy with it really

but I do get your point

and I figures I never had a valentine so why bother getting one now...... not that funny of a joke, but thats how it is

I also sometimes feel like getting one like today i almost bought it just to try it, but for that price I'll just get a M20 and would do a lot more.

But I don't want to open holes in my car which is the only thing that is keeping me away from it, and offcourse the money which I have for it but don't think it is that worth it.

Veil that sucker and put a WIRELESS LPP on there and youre good to go, but knowing Korean engineering something will probably go wrong with the setup (nothing against you, Just not a big Korean car fan, ill only buy it if its got Honda or CORVETTE stamped all over it)

    I'm not a v1 zombie and gonna say. . .

YOU MADE A MISTAKE - SELL THE X50!

    merdy mer mer.

I think that all detectors are great until proven crappy.

    Crapa - proven crappy.
    Uniden - banned by fcc
V1 - Solid Detector - great for arrows
x50 x65 - great detectorcs - great for range and filtering

If they all combined everything - it would be a great detector - but an expensive one at taht.

I might go to best buy - get one just to try it out -

    Take care you x50 luva's.

Arashi666 I have both the X50 and the V1, and trust me your not missing out on anything by not having a V1.

The V1 is not up to the hype that the drones praise it to be... is it a good detector: Yes. Is it all that its cracked up to be: Nope, and these new revs... they seem like a train wreck, especially the 3.851.

oh I know, i tested a V1 and the only thing it beat the X50 in is REAR Radar, thats IT, it alerted to laser at the SAME TIME as my X50

I realize and acknowledge the Valentine as a good top end detector only more expensive than the others due to probably all the included accessories.....but really its not better than my X50 or somebody elses RX-65.... THEYRE ALL ABOUT THE SAME...and the only thing the Valentine has going for it are the arrows (Which are just there as an Extra for the added REAR antenna), other than that its display is ANTIQUATED, its not organized at all, the ALL RED LEDs scrunched together DONT get the point across to me without having to LOOK direcly at the display

Really after the 1st month I wished I had a Valentine, then I jopined here and learded it not worth all the hype, plain and simple, one thing I did learn is that there are people that use the V1 as a substitute for a divine being sent to earth, and worship it to make a big fuss over NOTHING
