For an original solo? IMHO a waste.
not the big USS Enterprise looking Solo
but the Solo that looks like a 8500 in size.
That would be the Solo RD-5110.
Still a waste.
If you want cordless AND stealth is not a major concern, go for a Solo S2... it's GREAT, very reliable, very performent, uses 2 AA batteries (I use rechargeables), very good on laser as well (but you gotta mount it low for laser)... since July '05 I've been using an S2 and very happy with it... BUT it's NOT stealthy, can be detected by the latest RDDs... never happened to me :wink:
X2, the Solo2 is supposed to be very good for a cordless, however I have heard some bad things about the old solos
