Wow, and I bet at that distance, you have NO chance at slowing down.

Do they use laser in NJ/NY/PA?? Since this is where I do the majority of my driving it would be good to know this. I think in NY they use K and Ka radar, X and Ka in NJ and likewise in Pa. But what about Laser? Is it as huge a threat as the other types of radar?

Actually Veil wasn't created by the creator of this site. But the guy that created this site sells it. Veil is worth every dime and penny you put into it. If you take a look at the video section, you will see we have run plenty of tests with and without veil. It makes a huge difference! see some tests here....

Also to answer your question about how it looks on the car. It does put a little blueish tint to it if you apply a heavy coat. In these picture below, I have applied 2 light coats of veil that you can not notice.

Sethy I'd love to see another members attempt at VEIL application cause i think toping you is hard to do
Where in LI are you from? I'm in Astoria Queens. My girl lived in Levitt town for a while. Now she's in Brooklyn. State Troopers are bad on the Northern State, at least that's my experience.

So, I guess this stuff compliments the X50 and really works.

Can I buy this anywhere else? Say in a store? Or only online?

    Thanks

I live out by port jefferson Suffolk county cops use K and Laser that all i ran into from them.

NY troopers use Ka instant on most of the time occassionally constant on..Also by the city around the clearview expressway i have ran into laser infact i got a laser ticket on the clearview cause i didn't know the speed limt and i was going 21over

Most of my driving is no more than 10 over in areas where i'm not filmilar with or i know laser is in operation.

Northern State policed... I hardly ever see police on that i saw two recently pulled over cops using Ka thank god but they might have laser. At highway speed 500ft with a good VEIL coating and Laser shield you should be fine but you can't expect to being 15over and not get a ticket...smart speedin is the way to go.

NJ uses Ka, K X and Laser and sneaky un marked cars...they might use X-band which is easy yo detect but they hardly ever turn it on unless they plan to pull you over...most of the time the sit waiting for someone to blow by then they pull out and turn on their radar waiting for brake lights then they pull the person over

PA is a dangerous state to speed through they hace constant on signs to try and trick detector users...Most of the time they use instant on K band or VASCAR VASCAR is something to watch out for if that is a worry get a scanner

NY troopers are famous for instant on K and KA band as well as laser....I have run into POP on I-90 NY.

In any of the states above utilize smart speeding

I have VEIL treated my headlights and and grill with a thick coat of VEIL and i have a light coat on my icence plat with a laser sheild on top of my plate...That set up is prefect for my driving habits without a laser jammer

    Nice, thanks.
NJ was the place where I got my first speeding ticket. It was back in 91 and It cost me 88 bucks. Luckily, my NY insurance never checked my record.
But Pa is a beast, eh? I do some driving there so I guess I'll have to watch my a--. How about County Police in NY, say Westchester County? What do they typically use? NYPD Highway? I take the Major Deegan and the Sawmill Parkway to work. What bands do they use? You say K and Ka? Any Laser? Is VASCAR an issue here? What about the Sprain and Taconic Parkways?
Thanks fellas, I'm just trying to get a handle on the band useage to help decipher which is a threat and which is a likely garage door opener. :?

NY uses all bands except X so watch out for that. In PA only the state troopers can have radar guns but the other cops all use VASCAR. Occasionally upstate they put planes in the air to catch speeders but not often. Being a NYer and driving a bunch where laser is used or could be i don't ever do more than 15over and that will stay the same after i get a laser jammer

Yeah, I don't speed excessively either. I mean, I was the more then occasional street racer. Mainly because I used to get harrassed sooo much by the ricer crowd when I drove my Stang and I would usually ignore them. But there were times when I would need to "teach" one the meaning of v8 torque. Hey, no offense to the import dudes, some of you guys have killer cars, but you know the type... the ones with only a 4" muffler and a crap-load of stickers..

BTW, I found where one of the K alerts was coming from... On my way home today my X50 threw a mid strength alert on K and I saw the lightbar of a TBTA cop on the other side sitting infront of a truck. This was on the entrance to the triborough bridge. It's another hotspot for these Triborough Bridge and Tunnel Authority cops.

But, I also get a K alert in a very heavily populated area. This is near stores and lots of people. Not the place to speed either because there's lights everywhere. What could this be? Store alarms? There are no cops to be found, nor redlight cameras either.

    One last Q:
Do they use POP in NYC, or on the highways in NJ and Pa?
