Default Expert Meter or Spec Display?

Which mode do you use and why?

Expert mode all the way! For the obvious reason that it can track multiple sources.

The thing that has always concerned me about the X50 in expert mode is that it only displays a fraction of alerts the V1 does.

Used to use spec all the time, but will probably go with exp when I get my x50 back from Ohio (tomorrow! )

A fraction??? It tracks up to eight...2K, 2Ka. and 4X...but the thing is...the V1 wont tell you the bands for each individual signal....That is what concerns me about the V1 "bogey counter"....My x50 bogey counter kicks the V1's A$$

Most of the V1 alerts are falses anyway so there is nothing to worry about ....

Expert meter. Spec display would be nice if it was accurate, but I find the same source can give slightly different readings at different times.
