Scanning Dot/ plus sign

ok, do any of you know if i go to Best Buy to pick one up will it be the newest version which i think is 6.1 or will it be a older version and is there a way to tell what revision you have?

what exactly does the scanning dot do/look like when its on, any one have pics of the scanning dot/plus sign?

Here is a video of scanning +> in AutoMode then a ka signal in my garage.

The A .> or the + .> has a smaller dot on the bottom of the screen, and the symbol on the left hand side.

set to Auto, since it looked like the big DOT

just got mine, and it seems like the only difference is the size of the dot. ill play with it tommorow when its light out.
