well i was at best buy today after my midterms were done and over with so i decided to look around to see what they had. To my suprise they had a escort their; they wanted 345 dollars for it, plus to what i est. sales tax to be at, 35 dollars. this was for the blue display mind you, but that would pretty much make the cost 380 dollars when i can just get it online from roy for about 345 including shipping. I feel for the poor idiots who get swallowed into this rip.

It might have been a display model but the escort seemed like it has a plastic cover ... thats cool i guess.

If VR cant solve their problems right now im going to go ahead and get the escort here pretty soon.

yes they jack up $5 to the mrsp, if you argue with them they might let it go for mrsp but of course it's still cheaper from roy 8)

I did, then I printed Escort's main page on the X50, and I got my 5.50 (110% Difference) + Tax back........... that was for the Red, my Blue was the flat 340

i got mine at Best Buy for a total of 360.... I just couldnt wait any longer so i hit up best buy instead of roy, my Best Buy one is a rev 5 though but its all good. so far ive only gotten instant on situations one which was .5mi over a hill. doesnt seem like much but plenty of time to slow

Yea, but i have 15 days to decide whether i want to switch it out and hopefully get a revision 6. I dont plan on returnning it either.

ERR sharper image but i bought a X50 blue for friend and it was 6.1 and i just got mine and its 5... so maybe ill just return and hope i get a newer one. As of right now it sounds like the rev 5 and 6 are the same though. Guy at belscort told me the reason for the rev upgrade only involved the rx65 but since the X50 used the same board it was just switched. he said everything though is the same. So far with my rev 5 ive gotten ok range with some instant on and over hills. so unless someone gives me a definite answer that the rev 6.1 is better then im staying
