We do tests out of passion. You are looking WAY too much into it.

Yeah and you guys do what when ever someone beg the differ on your test?? making people think that they got a bad deal by posting your results when ever they say their Rd are working good that you have tested. I almost bought V1 but I am smart enough not to go with your result after testing my Rd for 3 weeks now and your testing showed wrong.

Enjoy reading all the post but why do posts always get high Jacked and go off topic. There has been 9 post so far and not one is remotely related to the question..... :?

Umm dude chill out. They do tests when they can. If you noticed they tested WHAT THEY HAD ON HAND. They aren't out to say one way or another. They just post what results they get.

All I said dont believe what they tested, just do your own testing if its GOOD then keep it. Then he got offended by that..

No Problem..... I was just hoping for an answer so I could figure out what's going on with 35.5 and the X50..... Like I said above, that is the main freq used here and it really disturbs me that the X50 did so poorly.

As for changing detectors, that's not an option. One detector is all I can afford and all I need at this time. Yes, I would like two so I could see the differences but the V1 is way too expensive. I'm sure it's a great detector, just very $$$$.

    That's BS.

    And I don't use a V1.

OK i have used a V1 and now have a X50. those tests are not Real life scenerios and they show that the X50 and rx65 have better filtering. On 35.5Ka my X50 has gotten 2.3mi range over 2 hills, my V1 falsed and got no were near that on 35.5, All that last test showed was the sensitivity and filtering. not range so if you guys really think the V1 owns every RD out there go ahead and get it. but the days of V1 dominating the RD industry are far over. I mean the V1 is a great detector, but some of you guys are acting like this NON-Real life test shows that unless you have a V1 your screwed and thats completly false. GOL does a great job on there tests and this is a good test, but not for comparing range or anything else but sensitivity.
