Default Bel / Escort power cords interchangeable?

If one has the Bel hardwire cords installed and then one gets an Escort RD, can the Escort RD be connected to the same hardwire cords? In other words, are the +ve and ground pins the same (also the voltage ranges)?

Yeah, they are the exact same thing, minus the name on them.

I believe that you could even connect a V1 on there, just that the mute button wouldnt work.

I thought so, but didn't want to blow one up. Cool to know that even the V1 can be hooked up with it. I don't have smartcords (takes same effort to reach rd/plug so I didn't bother), so the remote mute button isn't an issue for me.

    Cool, thanks guys.
