GOL or anybody for that matter.......... All X50 test

while I would like to see more up-to date X50s on the testing line-up aganst all the others, i'd also like to see an all X50 test (like the proposed all V1 test) just to see if this "Manufacturing variance" stuff is as bad as people claim it to beon the X50s, any thoughts??

Id like to see something like that too. Its just too bad that GOL doesnt always have the time/money to do such tests.

Id like to see something like that too. Its just too bad that GOL doesnt always have the time/money to do such tests.

all I have to say is that all the V1 guys come around saying things that make it sound like ALL X50s go Self-cal, get Service messages, and just have poor range in general, I wanna see what actually happens if we take like 10 or so at once and see what happens............. theres a similar thread on the V1 forum that lists the same idea for just V1s and well I just though that should carry over here as well

Well, an all x50 test would be a waste of a drive for me- since they only have 2 detectors

I am sure these both will be tested by GOL in the future, but along with many other detectors.

I'd be interested in seeing a very simple quickie test done by somebody using 2 or 3 detectors. Testing each for 10 runs. Just to see if there is a bigger difference between detectors, or as I suspect, a bigger difference run to run.

You are right and I am wrong. It would be great to have a test with all X50's to come up with the average detection for all of them. While you are at it, do the Bel RX65's in another test or STi's if you prefer so that we can see what the expected detection range is for every top radar detector ....Knowledge is power.

well if GOL only has 2 of um we can try to organize a Non-GOL test of this thing by X50 users or have um sent up for testing........... WHATEVER works, i might try to get together some guys in the DFW area with X50s to do it but I dont think we have any Ka guns floating around here like you guys up there at GOL do
