Exp meter question??

Ok, so driving today on campus I get a K band which was from a speed sign so I'm driving PSL (Too tired to speed) and the alert is ramping kind of normal I get to the speed sign and the alert is not on full then it gets to full alert after I passed it which was weird because i already know how it reacts to it, so I keep driing and the alert is on full. So I look to my left where there was a truck I keep looking for no reason and a see a UPD car with all his lights off and almost completely cover from the middle of the car to back, I look at my X50 and is just alerting to ONE signal. Thank God I wasn't speeding or something.

So my question would be, were the two signals really similar that my X50 filter them as one? Or it should have shown both signals even though they might have been similar. The speed sign was on 24.150 and 24.142, I got that yesterday from the same sign.

Hmmm...hopefully that isnt the case, or else that would make Expert mode useless. :?

Was the speed sign on? Maybe they put it out there to get ppl with RDs used to a K band source, then turn it off and put a cop there with a K band gun. I guess as many on here say, if a known false is acting different, then something's probably up.

It looked like it was turned off but earlier that night driving to the library I got the signal from the sign, but it wasn't showing up the speed either.

i'm not sure how much trust i put in the exp meter on the X50, at least in k band.
i need to do a drive to test it out, but i took 2 different brands of k band guns, and a k band tester, and all 3 read 24.147 in spec mode, so i couldn't get it to show multiple signals, even with all 3 on at once.

what are the odds of that?
i suspect it wasn't too accurate.

i'll try and find a door opener that is slightly off and fire up one of the guns and see if it gives a second signal.

a few weeks ago i was going down a road that had some falses and a k band speed sign, and it pretty much stayed on k for several miles, fading in and out of signal strength, but only showing one signal in exp meter.

ive noticed on x band there is this place around me with a liquor store on one side and wendys on the other. ill always get 2 x alerts and both around full strenth. im guessing this is beacuse there is 2 alerts and its not ghosting. now on K ive never come across 2 alerts together(that i know of)
