X50 rev 6.1 impressed me.

Last night heading back to school from thanksgiving. I run into an LEO running ka-band intant on. Well I thought my x50 was a blow but to my surprise i got a 1.8 mile warning on KA-BAND!!!!! :shock: It was even over two hills and a curve. Also the LEO was heading toward me at about 65 mph, so the range was phenominal... Sure does beat 3 weekends ago when a Texas State Trooped nailed my @ss with instant-on Ka-band resulting in a $200 girft from the DPS. Im sticking with the rabbit from now on :!: :idea: :!:

Max is a R5 I believe............... my R5 hasnt failed me yet, so I think theyre all good so long as you get a good one

It seems to me that the 6.1 is worse on range for me. My brother just bought a red 6.1 today and I went to a school zone speed limit sign and it picked up K. then a few seconds later it went to full alert. I went back a few times and noticed that it did the same thing. There is a 4 way intersection that my RD always beeps at and with the 6.1 it picks it up in closer range. It seems to me that my rev 5 is better??? :?:
