I knew that s**t would work, but my friend wouldnt let me borrow his X50 for 10 minutes so I could try it out

I told him, that if I broke it he could take my Blue one, or i'd buy him another one, I had enough locked away in my room at the time and he knew it, he was just being a little puss

I can vouch for him. Display will be purple. I was trying to get my blue x50 to work with my blue blocker sun glasses, but even purple didn't work. I took the blue display from my x50 and switched it with the red display from the 8500 plain. My wife gets the blue, I get the red.

With my camera phone it shows up as blue and there is no flash, the same goes with the real camera.

I took the red display cover off of my 8500 and put it on my X50, and now the display is purple. I couldnt get a picture of it, both the cameras here have the pic showing up blue, but I assure you it is purple. I think its sweet.
