Self Cal and Service Required?????

I've had mine for about 4 years.

Just last month it Self Cal, and that was the very first time. Hasn't done it since.

Hopefully itll last until the new escort rd comes out.

Means its pretty self expanitory. It is saying send me in I need to be tuned.

Welcome to the board Mayur. Hope your unit gets fixed the x-50 is a good unit just alot of pop falsing. Other than that its a stellar performer in my book. Hope you have a good time on the forum and learn stuff.

Ive been around since April and have had my RD since April and it works fantastic. My unit did display Service Required but now no longer does. Ill send it in a couple days before my car goes into the shop (getting some body work done) so I wont miss it too much

This is why i like haveing another high end back up unit. Or even a v995 like proudnma member does to fall back on should i ever have to send a unit into valentine reasearch or belscort. Then im not completely out of a detector i miss my unit but im not out of protection.

haha true but I was barely able to afford the x-50, not sure if I can afford a backup unit lol.

I didn't mean right now bud. In time you will be able to. In time you'll build up an arsenal like the rest of us have on here. I don't even list half of mine. Just my top units.

haha yup. My dad wants a good rd now after seeing mine. He has this really old Fuzzbuster rd that is from like 97 lmfao. He thinks it helps him which is the sad part. After using mine once or twice he wants one just like it. I may talk him into getting an Rx-65 though.

Ok well just stopped by the place I bought it from to get a copy of a reciept. While there I asked about warranty and they said that they can send it in so I just gave it to them. Easier for me, less to hassle with. Talked about an extended warranty. $60 for 3 more years. Im gonna go for this.

As i have prevously stated I would not purchase an rx-65 but do what you want man your money to waste not mine. I would get an x-50,v1,v995 over a rx65.
