Default 9500i-How's Truelock do when False&LEO are at same locat

I know this is early in the usage curve for the 9500i, but has anyone experienced how Truelock works if a previously "locked out" location now also has a LEO at that location and on same frequency?

I know Radar Roy tested it with a LEO across the street from a locked out location, but how far away must the LEO be?

Bizarjuggalo noted in his post that it locked out multiple signals around a Walgreens. Could one of them have been a LEO?

possibly, i have a felling that the 9500i will be great with detection and speed traps but they might have problems with their new true lock feature.

On occasion there is a Cop running radar next to a known False. I TrueLocked the False this morning. I'll post my findings if the Cop is ever there running radar.

BTW... so far I love the TrueLock feature. Only time will tell if I still love it but this is only Day 2 with my 9500i.

I can't be 100% sure that one of the signals were an LEO but I drive by this Walgreens every morning and every evening and according to my old 7500, I always picked up multiple K band signals. And when the 9500i picked up the multiple signals I assumed it was the usual false ones. So not fully knowing how it would react to locking out with multiple signals, I went thru the lock out process and it locked out all signals it was receiving at that time.

So basically, if an LEO was sitting at Walgreens yesterday morning using his K band radar when I locked out, he could get me if he sits there again.

I am going to try and call Tech Support to see if they can give me more information on this.

    Bizarjuggalo,

Thanks for seeing what you can find out about this LEO/false at same location issue.

I sometimes see a LEO near my local CVS running K band (same as their door openers). He's only about 50 ft. from the CVS I'd guess....shooting the traffic. My V1 picks it up as multiple Ks, but what would the 9500i do?

The 9500 would pick up the multiple Ks also if you do not have the CVS door radar locked out. If you happen to have the CVS radar locked out and you drive by with the LEO there, you should show one signal. Unfortunately I haven't personally encountered this scenario yet but if I find it incorrect I will definitely be posting.

So to lock out all threats in an area you just push the lockout button once? Or do you push the lockout button to lock out each threat, assuming there is more than one?

I thought you push them for each band. For instance on my bad corner I've got:
    CVS K 24. 140
    Walgreens K 24.400.
    Randalls K 24.500.

As the 9500i cycles through the multiple alerts, I should be able to lock them out as I come up. Then when League City PD sits in the Randalls parking lot and shoots they're K 24.500 the 9500i should see the extra K 24.500 and set off an alert.

right? or am I bieng too optimistic?

You are being too optimistic with this assumption. I have a call into Escort to verify with them, but from my observation, if you are receiving multiple signals and go thru the lock out process, that it does not cycle thru the signals to lock out, it just locks them all out.
