ANYTHING emitting radar that the RD picks up is not a false. Does that make it easier to understand. Radar detectors are made/designed to pick up radar signals on certain frequencies. If it picks up someone farting and it's on the frequency the RD detects, that's also not a false. How hard is that to understand???

I think most police would call it a "false alarm." Yeah, the alarm works, but for what purpose other than annoy the responding cop?

Maybe, or it just shows that the area of the lockout is small..Either way, it means the detector is doing what's it supposed to..I can't for some extensive testing from Happy and GOL..Happy, you are testing this detector, right?

I will be selling mine if the 9500i performs as advertised and is at least on par with the X50. And there are many V1 owners who will be at least trying out the 9500i: You, Azonehits, Joe Diver, riley2638, Scott, lordhamster and the list goes on... So please don't act like V1 owners aren't going to like this detector. :roll:

I never stated this that i will not like the 9500i. If you read one of my post, i stated that i may replace my X50 with the 9500i. But i have to see some evidence regarding my concerns such as locking out a frequency and alerting you with another source with the same frequency. Most importantly sensitivity has to be better than the X50. Of course, there's a lot of features that you will certainly like with the 9500i and i truly believe that some V1 owners will go with the 9500i. Every V1 owner has different ways of looking at it and others can't get rid of the arrows. Arrows or no arrows, i'm very comfortable using either RD. It just boils down to the individuals preference and nobody can change that regardless of how you persuade one.
