Question remains, if the false (e.g., door opener) is "turned off" that day where you've previously locked out the signal/location, will it pick up a LEO sitting there?

I will do my best to answer that question ASAP. Unfortunately, I do not have access to a radar gun to test it first hand.

about the door scenario it should work. If the doors sensors have at least 2 or 4 signals (one or two for enty and exit). Therfore if u lock out two or four signals and k band police radar is being used while the door sensor is off the 9500 will only pickup one signal and go off. Also, the odds of the door signal and a k band radar being on exact freequency are slim to none. I am gettin my 9500 tomorrow and have a acsses to all bands and will test this. I have a exckerd drug store 1/2 mile from my residence which trips off k band with 1/4 mile of it.

Thanks for your contributions. I must admit something though. I have serious doubts that you are a LEO. You are helping too much to be one. There is only ONE LEO that is this way. By the way he is also one of the best human beings I have ever met

Well u may doubt me all u want that is your right. I am who i say i am. I have and always had a interest in radar/laser. I have had a radar detector for over ten years. I find it interesting to see what other agencies are using so i have mine in spec mode. I am a leo in fact i am a a radar, laser, vascar, and aerial speed enforcement instructor for the SP. I am also certified by NYS municpal to teach outside agencies within nys. I also feel there is a huge difference between going 5-10 over the speed limit and 20-50 over the limit. I currently cover a interstated post and stop vehicles traveling 90+ mph all day cutting through traffic. I found this website a year or so ago and it peaked my interest. So, if people have a objection to me posting on this site just speak up and i will stop. I have nothing to lose.
Anyway, like i said i have accsses to kr-1osp, lti ultralyte and ka stalker dual 34.7 ghz (in my patrol car). Therefore when i get a chance i want to test this unit.

bring the toys and come out to the GoL test its always a good time, and I wouldn't mind learning a few tricks from a leo.

for the record I don't think anyone would have any problem with you posting here, hell I encourage it.

I will send you a video as soon as it is completed. I was able to find an auto door opener that has the same frequency with my MPH radar.
