What I'm really afriad of is locking up a real threat, is that even possible?

Here in the Bay Area, CA , they use traffic radar to measure the average traffic speed. These set off the X50 about 5 times during my commute.

Since I got the 9500i, I got maybe 2 of these false alerts. I locked up one. I'm going to lock up the other one.

I just hope this new detector didn't lose its ability to catch the real boogys.

BTW, it did great against a moving Ka threat on Saturday! About 20 seconds until I saw the patrol car rolling the other way. The Ka always proves to be more difficult to combat, while the K (at least with my X50) is a joke most of the times. I'd pick those guys up from a mile away with hills and what's not. They would just look at me like: "How the hell did you know we were here" look.
