Funny thing is, my X-band is turned OFF.

Calling Escort later today to see what's the deal.

maybe its the ever so powerful Ku threat?

or perhaps the user disabled x band, turned the unit off and thought he "disabled it". I'm guilty of this coming from the V1 where you just fix what you want then turn it off.

But, I like the escort system of just waiting 8 seconds.

If the 950001  has a auto sensitivity on X and K band when not moving fast how would they test it at GOL,SML etc

Yes. The 9500i is going to take more sophisticated testing. The 9500i is evolutionary so the previous testing methods won't work.

The GOL boys need to get their hands on the 9500i now so they can understand how it works then create new testing that is valid.

The speed relative sensitivity is going to affect testing big time.

Just turn off the GPS. No GPS, no speed selective sensitivity, just regular old X50 Auto, City, and Highway.

speed dioesn't apply when you run the detector in highway mode

and all detectors tested by GOL are run in their default settings in their most sensitive mode...Or at least that what i remember reading once

I was hoping that more testing would be done other than Highway mode. It would be nice to verify what Escort says about Auto mode as to what it really does.

    Maybe too much to ask.
