    Default I can't believe it...

Driving through Kenmore the other morning (while taking my son to school), my X50 started alerting me to 34.7 Ghz (I think the actual displayed frequency was 34.803???). I was on a residential side street, about 2 blocks away from a main drag. I looked behind me - nothing. I looked in front of me - again, nothing. When I came to a stop sign, I looked off to the side, and what did I see? One of Kenmore's finest running a speed trap. Here's the kicker: he was about 20-30 ft. from the corner, and partially parked behind a fence!

Nice. There's nothing like an experience like that to keep your confidence in a detector.

I had an experience delivering a pizza down eagle landing in North Charleston.

I come into the main section, and get a ka warning.. I slow down, look around, nothing...

I keep going and the ka stops alerting, now on my way back I take a left down a road, and then another left, and there he is, sitting behind a house, next to a fence on the side of the road...

35.5 sucks. It seems like that is the most common in my area  Yesterday I got a .3 mile warning in medium traffic on 35.5. It sucked because I saw his lights before I got the warning. At first I was like, that is HORRIBLE range! Then I thought about it rationally. We were in medium-heavy traffic and he was in my lane traveling my direction with his front radar on. So, I was getting scatter at .3 mile distance - I was a little less and a little more after thinking about it.

It can be painful but I give Ka a 2 mile window of observation.

Yeah, my range on KA 35.5 is bad as well. I get on average less than
half a mile. Not sure why the X50 has so much trouble on this particular frequency......
