    Default Hardwiring, stripped my ground

I accidentally stripped the ground circle metal peice off of the ground wire. Am I screwed or is there a way to ground the ground wire still? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

    oh man, you're screwed.

    kiddin.
you're fine, the circle just makes it easy to attach under a ground screw.
just strip a little more bare wire so you can "wrap" it around your ground point screw (or bolt).
basically find a screw or small bolt nearby that is attached to metal. loosen it, wrap the wire under it and tighten back up.

now that is the "simplistic" answer. the metal should have ground contact.
if everything powers up, it works. if not, check the wiring and maybe another "ground point " will be needed.
