Default Wow the X50 has great K range

Driving along a well known road today near work and get a weak K signal where it shouldn't be falsing so I start to pay attention. It ramps up pretty quickly and I'm suddenly at full alert so I back it down to the PSL. I drove for at least a mile or more that way looking around for him. Finally saw him driving my direction. I gave the kind officer a wave and headed on down the road. Thanks X50.

funny you should say that as I just got home and was meaning to add to this post.

I was travelling along a quiet semi country road today where the speed limit did an quick drop from 45 to 30. I was travelling, say, well over 45 already. Before I was even near the 30 sign I started getting a KA alert. I had already started to slow down considerably when a car going the other direction flashed it's lights a bit. It was ramped all the way up and then soon after is when I saw the 30 sign and figured there was a trap ahead. I got all the way down to 30. Just as I pass a little gas station, there he is. I did my friendly wave, he waved back, and I went along my way.

KA rocks on this thing too.

had it in expert mode so didn't see it. I keep playing with the different modes to see which one I like best. So far it's this one, but I ordered a V1 and am going to mount the X50 on my bike. I think once I do that, I will go back to standard mode to try and get the most lights since I have not yet decided on if I want the hard system, wear an earphone, or what.

Agreed, the x50 is a great detector just wish it handled KA ( 35.5 ) better than it does. It's not so bad on a Straight road but get a curve and it's a little lacking. Granted KA is very hard to pick up but we all know ( 35.5 ) poses a little issue for the x50 owners.

I know ( 35.5 ) well here...... That's the only KA they use where I live.
