X50 questions

Hi all, i was looking for a little RD upgrade for awhile and one of my friends is selling his X50 , he bought it new and drove like 900 miles with it, hes selling the travelling case with it too, can anyone tell me whats the worth of this? And can i know how could we see wich rev the detector has? Thanks

Power on the detector while holding down the two right buttons, the REV will flash

Is this a 8500 or 8500 X50

We did what Roy said and we found that its Running on Rev 5 , he bought it like that , i opened it too and theres a little sticker that says Passed Jan 05 , i dont know if it was produced in january but its seems to be a pretty new unit. I still got some questions left :Anyone knows aproximately the value of this? theres scratches on the lens, will that effect the range of it? Thanks in advance guys :wink:
