Default Passport 9500i link to SHIFTER ZR3

Hi all, can somebody here tell me little about how to connect 9500 to ZR3.
With ZR3 come cable to connect to 8500. I can not figure out where plug it to my 9500. On 9500 is a three plug, one for power, on USB and one for headphone. :? Thanks

I unfortunately do not have the 9500i, however, since it uses the standard Escort SmartCord to source power, the integration procedure should be the same as with the x50.

To set up the integrated 9500i-ZR3 link, you will need to hardwire, for power, the ZR3. Then, using the ZR3's provided "Link" cable (item "G" in your installation manual), connect the "Interface" unit (item "F" in your installation manual), at the specified output port, with the detector.

Your ZR3's "Remote Mute" button (item "E" in the installation manual) now serves to both control the functions of the 9500i (i.e. replaces the SmartCord) and the ZR3.

You can choose whether or not to keep the "Display Controller" unit (item "A" in your installation manual) visible. I like to have it in line-of-sight, as during unit start-up, you can directly visualize the ZR3's self-check sequence on this unit, which then blanks-out and shunts display solely to the integrated detector.

    Hope this helps!
