How to tell manufacture date on X50?

Hiya folks

I recently acquired what was supposedly a "less than a year old" x50 as per the seller and after reading this great forum, found out how to tell what firmware was installed - ver 5.0... so my question is this.. how can I tell if the seller was lying or at the very least know the 'birth' of my Escort 8500 x50?

I know it was manufactured from Canada as it says so; but the date is elusive.

look at the last 4 numbers on the sticker. 45 06 means it was made on the 24th week of 2006
