Default New 9500i, to"MARK" while receiving K/Ka/X signal

Hi. I just got my 9500i yesterday and I have a question. Can you "MARK" a location while the 9500i is receiving the signal K / Ka / X band? I tried to press the MARK button while receiving the signal but nothing happened. Thanks in advance.

Thanks. I would greatly appreciate it. I am also planning to call customer support and ask about this feature.

No. Can't mark a location when you get a signal.

So, how would you mark a location where you know that there is an LEO? so sad... Memorize the location?

    hmmm....

After my recent update for linear LED, it seems I cannot Mark a location either. I tried to cancel (Mark) out a K band door closer to no avail.

    Something's different.

Update or no update, you cannot mark a location when you get an alert. Ka band cannot be also locked out. Only way you can mark a location is when there is no alert. If it's a speedtrap, you can mark it before or after the alert or come back another time when LEO is not using radar or not in that location.

It could have been a good feature if you can do this MARKing on the fly since it is the best time to Mark the location when you see the LEO and/or a high incident of K/Ka signal.

I'm very confused with this thread.

What are you guys talking about?

Isn't the ONLY time you can mark a location when you ARE receiving a signal?

Is "Linear LED" the same as "smooth Ramp Up"?

you are thinking of the lockout feature. you can only lock out a signal (after being deemed as false) when the RD is receiving the signal. when you mark a location, you are marking a location that is a speed trap, or speed camera but can not be receiving an alert.
