LED question

Just got my RX65 yesterday. I left it on my windshield mount all day in the Texas heat. When I was leaving for work I noticed the right half of my led was dimmer than the left.

I am letting it cool down and will see if this will correct itself to the original brightness.

Anyone else experience this problem?

Sounds like trouble..... :? Don't think it's going to fix itself.

Sounds like a Saab trip computer display, after a few years the pixes start to go dim, then out... starts to look like Klingon language... To fix you just need to apply some kind of pressure on the back of the unit.

If your 65 is still under warranty I'd send back.

After waiting about 4 hrs I tried it again. Both sides of the LED work normally now. Weird. I'll try to keep the unit from the direct sunlight when parked and see if it happens again. If it does then I will return it for another.
