Pulse Radar

Okay a friend of mine was telling me his Whistler detects pulse radar was asking me if the Bel Rx 65, V995 and Escort X50 do?? I have looked but was not able to answer his question. He is looking for a new unit told him I would post the question on this board since he doesn't have internet access right now. Any one know the answer to this???

Pulse radar is same as instant on radar. To answer your question yes they do. Detecting instant on is pretty much a standard feature in today's detectors

Cant go wrong with any one of those detectors. But highly reccomend to him to invest in one of the TOP 3.

Some of the Whistlers will display "Pulse" if they get a full strength signal that ramps up instantly or very fast. I think this is unique to the Whistlers, other units don't really do this, they'll just display the regular signal strength...
