Updating the 9500iX and cI (not that easy)

I guess they figured if you can buy an high end radar detector for $500 then you can probably afford a basic laptop which these days has been as low as 300-400, especially during x-mas time. Kind of like High end cars... they think that because you can afford a high end car then you can afford the high maintence cost associated with it..

If anyone has one of those Black and Decker Simple Start devices;
Simple Start Auto Battery Charger from Black and Decker
It has a jack that you can plug in your RD, then could put it near your computer.

Or even cheaper method you can buy a dc to ac converter and bring the 9500xi into the house, but for the ci you have to bring the computer to the car or close to computer. Like the other person said if you can afford a 1600 detector then you can afford a laptop.

I have a SimpleStart and realized I could use it, rather than going out an buying something. Free.

Honestly, I'll just use my laptop, but thought I would share an idea for those without.
