    Rev 5, I get false POP alerts non-stop...very irritating...have had to shut it off.

    I have seen much less unit-to-unit variation in V1s than in my BELs. And other friends' and family members V1s perform the same as mine.

    I would like the v1 if it didn't false like crazy, if the bogey counter & the arrows actually worked like they should and also if the tones were a little better!

    Rev. 5: Used to false twice a week or so on POP, usually when passing Crapras or Unidungs. I turned POP off because, well, we don't have it in Arizona.

    My X50 is REV 5. and false POPS on crapolas detectors so much I POP'd off.

    Care to share with us a theory after gathering this info, Sethy?

    REV 5 very few PoP FALSE alerts and here in my town mostly everyone has the cheaper C

    X50 Rev 5. I would have to vote yes to false POP alarms. There are areas on the highway that I drive daily that have K-Band door openers for Hotel lobby doors. Sometimes I receive a K alert, othertimes it's POP. I also have set up CW K-Band and Ka-Band sources and have observed that while the vehicle is moving at the fringe of the detection range, I will receive a false POP alert quite frequently to this CW signal.
