Just got the 9500ix, Installed, I THINK I HAVE A RAMP UP ISSUE????

I just received the new 9500ix, and installed it in my car (Simple plug in)
When it detects the K-band, it acts crazy. It alerts, but then it mutes itself, (AUTO MUTE IS OFF). Then alerts again, then quiets.
I think i have a problem with my device?
Please help.

Ramp up issues typical with my 9500i probably same for the IX Update took care of it for my 9500i perfect ramp up now ..

You are the first to complain about the ix ramp up. My guess is update it via the USB. If not here we go again...

I do not have a 95000ix and I am considering buying one soon when I have the money but my guess would be that it either is a problem specific to you or your area. If it is a widespread problem the only advice I could give would be to contact tech support.

To the best of my knowledge a fix for this issue has not been released. Please try and be more specific, try putting it in expert mode and seeing if it is only certain freq. It may also be POP detection or a problem with that too but others would know more than me so ask them.

Something like this happens on mine.
BUt also then mutes or sometimes decides real strength and constantly beeps.
Didnt have this problem with the 9500i
