Which Belscort did better?

All of you guys are going by that test.Before that test you would have said the X50 was the best. Its what you think not what you know.

Well, there are two ways to find out. #1 is to acquire all the necessary equipment and detectors and do the tests yourself. #2 is to read the results after someone else (the Guys of Lidar in this case) did the tests. When SML did the tests, the results were different. Why? Who knows.

As much as I'd like to try #1 myself, it'll never happen as long as (a) I'm married and (b) I'm in the income bracket that i'm in. So I have to settle for #2...

I wanted to do #1 but NO ONE offered to help. I think it is really hard to believe that it did that bad (actually not bad just not has good as the 8500) in Ka testing. I believe that it was just that detector not the x50 in general.

The X50 that you all tested may not have been up to par.
But don't get me wrong...you all did awsome with the testing and it certainly took alot of time and money (Gas is about $10 a gallon isn't it :roll. So I am just confused mainly :? But the GOL are awsome

This is an easy one. RX65 is the best Belscort for first alert to radar. 13 ft is nothing.

All these tests, you wanna see them for yourself etc.

I HONESTLY think that every RD out there whether it is the X50, V1, RX65 etc...you will need more than 1 of them to test. Numbers are all over the board, folks are worried the testers are "souped" up etc. Get 3 V1's, 3 X50's, 3 of whatever the hell else you want tested and average those results. (common sense points to have all the same REV, VER's of the same RD)

Of the Belscorts the RX65 was the surprise leader of the bunch. Consistent through the tests, and showed it was the one to beat of the Belscorts. I didn't expect the RX65 to perform so well since people seem to talk down. The X50 just doesn't appear to be hanging with the competition... I guess Belscort should hurry it's Brand X campaign quick.

I have access to a blue and red X50. My cousin has the blue. I can test both on a Ka drone in the Houston Medical Center area and I will post my results as soon as possible. Don't wait for them though, getting my cousin to let me borrow his blue X50 may be more difficult then it sounds. I'll try to get it from him and test it out One more thing, does anyone know if using 2 X50's at the same time will affect the results?

I would run one at at time, to eliminate the possibility of them interfering with each other, possibly affecting sensitivity/performance.

Once I get my V1 tuned up, I'll try to do a comparison between the V1 and the X50 on Ka. It's easier said than done, since stationary Ka sources are a bit hard to come by around here (only staties use Ka around here).

lets all join the v1 ban wagon. I think the v1 is over priced and over rated. I would like to use one of these my self to SEE the difference ( Im not saying GOL is lying I just don’t think the X50 was at its best performance)
