I had a long talk with Michael Kennedy, who really is a nice guy.
We discussed some of the ideas/suggestions you guys have had lately for updates to i and ix. He said one of which that he hadnt heard yet, was having a signal strength override on lockouts. He agreed that it would be an excellent idea and said he'd pass it on to the engineers for a possible change.
No offer of beta testers, but he did make me reconsider the "autolearn" feature after I explained how my local LEO's usually run K and all my local falses are as well. I explained how I tried many times to rely on TrueLock but came too close to getting burned as a result....and he reassured me that "autolearn" fixed that problem, and cut down on the radius of the lockouts.
What do you think? $89 for me to upgrade my blue "i" to an "ix"....or sell it now?
