10 Ka 34.7 hits in 200 miles of driving

I went to San Diego last night for the Chargers game, which is about 100 miles from my house. 4 Ka 34.7 hits on the way down and 6 on the way back . An average of one Ka hit every 20 miles!

Not sure if it's still considered a holiday weekend or the California budget is really that bad, but I've never seen anywhere near that many CHP generating revenue.

9500ix kicked ass ... enough range where I did not even have any close calls. It was crazy though ... cruise control at 80, 34.7 alert, slam on the brakes, rinse, repeat.

None (at least that the 9500ix picked up). Good thing too cuz I still don't have a jammer.

I've seen LIDAR several time on that exact trip down the 405 and the 5.

I have not even had a single 9500ix laser hit yet. A jammer is coming soon though, thanks to your reports and vids. My GF got a LIDAR ticket recently too.

Last memorial day I counted 22 radar hits on a 264 mile trip from Nashville to Jonesboro, AR.

This past thanksgiving I think I got 10 hits in a 40 mile round trip on just this one stretch of road.

The CA CHP was still on maximum alert until Sunday night from the holidays. Probably some state or federal overtime grant money, even though both are broke, to pad their overtime. Aside, it would be funny if their overtime checks bounced.

It's all about safety, don'cha know.

I actually didn't have my 9500ix yet. I was still using the doorstop RD. That day I also sorta ran from a trooper. About 1/4 to 1/2 mile behind me I saw a Tennessee State Trooper pullout from behind a tractor trailer with his lights on. He passed the truck and I was the only one left in front of him. I was driving reasonably (75-78) in a 70 mph zone on I-40 but as many troopers as there were I figured one of them caught me doing something wrong. Well up the highway about a half mile or so I saw an exit sign so I gunned it up to about 85-90 mph got off at the exit parked at a busy service station and went inside the store to use the restroom. He had disappeared went I got back on the highway. I wouldn't do that again but if he had pulled me over the last thing I needed that day was a ticket.
