V1 does have an auto mute. It also auto adjusts to light which others do not do.

I have never had a problem with it being too bright or too dim.
I suppose one could say its a pain to have to manually adjust a detector to the proper settings too.

Dammed if you do something and dammed if you don't!

You have been completely exposed as a liar, which is pathetic! You deserve whatever punishment you get. I'm surprised that it wasn't worse.

    I'm very hurt.

The two of you never had a leg to stand on arguing about TrueLock not being a huge risk in owning a detector...in the beginning you tried to say it was me (that I wasnt intelligent enough to use such an advanced detector as a 9500i), then when others came out of the woodwork agreeing that TrueLock had major flaws with locking out real LEO radar, you decided to instead try to call me a liar...that I hadnt experienced what I claimed I had. Seriously...you're both a joke.
TrueLock isn't a huge risk, its dependent on the area, settings, user, plus many other factors in a specific scenario.

You know my stance with your scenario, you know my solutions that i suggested that you found to be unacceptable, and that's fine. No one came out of the wood work, its clearly stated and linked, this has been discussed in nauseating detail for years. You know i know TrueLocks strengths and weaknesses and you know im clear about them to people with an open mind.

For you to have only 2 issues or even 7, than to totally dismiss the thousands of other acceptable encounters is dead wrong and doesn't give you a leg to stand on. I think hundreds of 9500 owners with tens of thousands of miles with hundreds of lock outs trumpS your sometimes narrow minded opinion.

Now if we look out side of RD.net you have some valid points about Escort and TrueLock. However for some reason you don't have the ability to differentiate that from us.

You are a liar. Not because I say so, but because your posts say so. You changed your story. It is what it is.

I didnt "change" jack. You dug up a couple of my posts that were me explaining my TrueLock LEO lockouts...

No matter what you say; if you claim I havent seen at least 4 ( I believe more ), legitimate situations where my 9500i locked out LEO's, you're dead wrong. And thats the bottom line.

I have no reason to lie about ANYTHING on this board tough-guy.
Sh!t...if I was going to LIE, I'd LIE about something worth lying about....I'm as honest as can be.

Who else would openly admit to having AZZ SURGERY on a forum?
Get real man. Just because you have enough time to waste with your life to try to dig up my old posts (which I didnt even bother reading mind you) to prove some BS, it doesnt mean I lied. Your findings mean nothing.

Like I said before...you guys have tried EVERYTHING to silence the reality of the danger of TrueLock. First it was me being incapable of such a tough to use piece of electronics, then it was that I must have intentionally set up the situations, then it was that I was setting up Escort employees when I asked them flat out if it could EVER lock out real LEO's and they said NO, and now its that I'm just a complete liar because you think you pieced together a timeline of some sort. Give it a rest...you have nothing but the fact that you live in an area where K and X bands arent used (just like CJ) so your opinion of TrueLock being overly SAFE is a biased one...and you have no room even blabbing about it. Just say "It works great for me because I don't have any LEO's that run signals that could be locked out" and go on your way.

Trying to paint someone as a liar because they point out the LARGE danger for the majority of us that drive in areas with real X and K band LEO's is ridiculous. They market this detector to be one that does NOT lock out real LEO radar and works in areas with both LEO's shooting X and K and Falses. And the BOTTOM LINE IS THAT ITS BS.

Collect whatever paycheck Escort sends you to make excuses for it on this board...and move along, because honestly..just like before you're grasping at straws.

EDIT: OMG...I just actually read through your rant denouncing me as a "liar"....you're hilarious. You think because I didnt make reference to each and every LockOut I experience specifically that I therefore never did? You're funnier than I actually realized. EVERYONE on this board KNOWS WITHOUT A SHADOW OF DOUBT THAT I THINK TRUELOCK IS TRUECROCK.......EVERY POST I MAKE ABOUT IT IS AGAINST IT>>DO YOU REALLY THINK I WOULD CARE ENOUGH TO MENTION EVERY SINGLE SPECIFICS THAT IT FAILED ME? I'VE MADE IT CLEAR THAT ITS FAILED ME MANY TIMES...I DIDNT CARE TO GET INTO SPECIFICS AFTER THE FIRST COUPLE TIMES. AFTER I SAID I WAS DONE WITH TRUELOCK I STILL EXPERIENCED MORE. I OWNED AND RAN THE 9500i APPROX 6 MONTHS and me saying I was done with TRUELOCK less than a month after purchase didnt mean I shut the GPS features OFF. I just manually UNLOCKED ALL THE LOCATIONS I COULD THINK OF. IF YOU THINK IN 6 MONTHS I COULDNT HAVE ENCOUNTERED MORE OF THOSE LOCKOUTS IN PLACES I FORGOT TO UNLOCK YOU'RE ON CRACK
