database update question

Is each database update file complete within itself; ie, does each database update physically replace the installed database. Another way of asking the question is does each update file contain all of the known red light camera position information such that if I just now start installing the updates I would still have a complete database.

I hope that made sense...

WARNING: NOT A 9500 USER:

I would assume that each DB is mutually exclusive, and complete, in and of itself.

It would be pretty stupid of Escort to force someone that has just bought a 9500 to go back and DL every DB they ever put out, and install every single one, in the exact right order in which they were put out...but Escort isn't the sharpest tool in the box sometimes.

EDIT: Holy crap DJ, that thread was started today! Two people have the exact same question on the same day...
