zr3 with 9500i

I have the laser shifters for the zr3, but no control box. I was wondering if the shifters would work with my 9500i so I don't need to get a new control box. If they do work together how do I hook them up?

How did you come along the heads without the control box?

A friend of mine got an SR7 with shifters, but decided he didn't want the shifters. So he just gave them to me.
