    Default 9500ix on Switched 12v

Im looking at a 9500ix and I would like to hardwire it to a switched power line (its actually already all wired from my old 6500). From the pics it looks like the 9500ix requires a button push to turn it on.

If Im connected to switched power will i need to push the button on the 9500ix every time I start the car or will it retain its on-state?

    Ditto that previous hardwire reply.

It automatically turns back on when you restart your car, if it was on when you turned off the car.

    No button push required.

A good design feature, and one I was concerned with also prior to my purchase.
