You can remove the camera updates and stored locations with Detector Tools.

What's wrong with the 1.1 update?

    Clearing The Database
At some point you may want to clear all of
the data in PASSPORT’S database. This
includes all markers and your false alarm
locations. In order to do this, simply press
and hold the “SEN”, “BRT” and MUTE
buttons at the same time. To confirm this
    action, press the “GPS” button

Nope, since when you flash the v1.1 firmware, it completely replaces the original v1.0 firmware code. Escort does not make available on their web site the v1.0 firmware codes for any of the 9500 models. For my 9500ci, that is a PITA since I want to revert back to the original 9500ci v1.0 firmware code which had a much better audio ramp-up profile and doesn't have the ramp-up bugs which showed up starting with the 9500ci's v1.1 firmware code.

Not to mention firmware "versions" are not always cross-upgradable-downgradable -- flashing 1.0 firmware onto already-1.1 firmware might be an entirely unsupported operation.

You can back-rev. I back revved my 9500ci from 1.3 to 1.2 and then to 1.1 firmware. The 9500ci's 1.1 through 1.3 firmware generates a full audio alert tone once the displayed signal strength reaches 4 bars. The original 1.0 firmware's audio ramp-up did this only when the displayed signal strength reached maximum. And the newer firmware versions have other new bugs. These are the reasons why I wish that I could back-rev my 9500ci's firmware to its original 1.0 firmware version.

Jdong is correct that the firmware is not cross-upgradeable from one platform to another.

I have the 9500ci v1.0 software update on my computer. I won't say why or how, but I have it.

PM me your email address if you want it.
