How much Performance gain I should expect from 9500ix over Whistler SE models(I currently have Whistler PRO 78se & XTR-690SE)??

not much You have no idea if your Whistler's are performing the Max yet. If your doubted your Whistlers send them for a check up.

I think you will have good improvement over the whistler models. Just be careful with the autolock feature on the 9500ix.

Well if he does live here in SoCal then it definitely shouldn't be a problem. I just didn't know that little fact. I have yet to come across any K band LEO threats in Orange County.

It's not a fact, but I think I remember him saying he lives here. I could be wrong about that.

They're here, but they are pretty rare. Probably less than 1% of my radar encounters are K band. There is a LBPD LEO that likes to run K band radar on the 405 and the 710, so look out for that.

35.5 GHz Ka: 9500ix: 937ft (about 2.5x) - Pro 78: 381ft

34.7 GHz Ka: 9500ix: 1968ft (over 3x) - Pro 78: 586ft

33.8 GHz Ka: 9500ix: 1873ft (about 4x) - Pro 78: 461ft

Around the Curve 34.7 GHz Ka: 9500ix: 2011ft (about 2.5x) - Pro 78: 742ft

Around the Curve K: 9500ix: 2011ft (about 1.5x) - Pro 78: 642ft

To match the 9500ix Ka performance on the SEs would on average need to be 3x better than they are with out Ka MAX (Pro 78)
