Poll: Is the Extended 3 Yr Escort Warranty Worth It?

I think the M4 based detectors are more reliable than the S7's. I wouldn't pay extra for the extended warranty. My S7 X50 was giving self cal errors a few years ago and it was only like $60 to fix it.

My advanced intuition tells me that Escort has a $110 flat rate repair free for the RD??? If that is the case, I think I'll save the $50 as that is a sure thing, and risk $60 that it will not break during year 2 and year 3.

After having so much laser falsing problems that developed with a bunch of 8500s I wanted just-in-case peace of mind even if it's only for 3 yrs although 8500x50 (I still have) that I replaced my last 8500 with was flawless... and yes the subscription value.
