Ok so i got my unit today and saw in the manual that if you want to clear your database you hold sen, brt, and mute at the same time, then hit the GPS button. When i did this i did not see a confirmation message or beep acknowledging that it had cleared. Did i do something wrong or is this how it is? How long do i need to hold these buttons? Thanks

Hold SEN, BRT, and MUTE and then you confirm by pressing the GPS button. So you probably did it.

Or you can do it in detector tools.

manual is written wrong!!!!!!!!

You have to turn off the Unit first....(they never mention this in manual)
Then hold 3 buttons and Push Power Button on.
then it will ask you confirm clearing database..then push GPS to clear database...
